If you know the shout…
Hailing from Western Mass, The Mary Jane Jones is an original multi-genre band with an edgy retro vibe. The 8-member horn-heavy syndicate performs with a chemistry and swagger reserved for old friends and superheroes. Their natural talent, strong musicianship, and intricate songwriting make this one of the most exciting bands to see in the Northeast. The Jones has opened for national acts including NRBQ, Fishbone, The Squirrel Nut Zippers, Seth Glier, Marcia Ball, and The Alexis P. Suter Band. Influenced by artists like Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Tina Turner, and Marvin Gaye, this band honors the legacy of jazz, blues, rock, and soul with passion and respect.

Currently recording original material for release with in-house engineer Chris Ball at his new Fun Room Studio in Greenfield, MA, the band released a self-titled single in 2018 and their first cover in 2020, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the release of Mr. Crowley - Ozzy Osbourne’s 2nd single off his first solo album, Blizzard of Ozz. Their last original release, No Good For You, dropped December 2020, and since then, the band has been hard at work recording material for a full album release.
